Wow! Another day, another award…!

This time the lovely Erica has nominated me for a new award, and I am so happy to say I haven’t had this one before!!!

Let’s get started and here come the rules:

The questions for me to answer:

What makes your heart shine?
My family makes my heart glow, not just shine!  They are what keep me going throughout life too!

What do you do, if there are clouds in front of your inner sun?
I try and blow the clouds away… or I look for that silver lining.. three’s always a silver lining… I firmly believe that!

What would a perfect day for you look like?
It would be a warm day, with no breeze, I would wake up from a full night’s sleep… honestly! And then have a leisurely breakfast. Time spent with the children, with no pressure of homework, and quality time with my Hubby Dearest too! Food would be brought to me, not needing my help with preparing! There would be no housework to do either! I wouldn’t mind being home, but not having any demands on my time would be amazing!

What is your favorite quote?
I don’t know who sais it but “It’s better to die on your feet than to live on your knees…”
It really meant something to me, about living life to the fullest, and not taking the safest options all the time, because you really don’t know what tomorrow might hold…

What was your greatest insight?
My greatest insight… I think once I became a mother, it made me realise just how much, and what my mum did for us children.  What she gave up for us, to be there for us as a full time supportive mum.

    Now to answer the questions :

    What is the main ‘sunshine’ in your life?
    My main sunshine in my life is something that is refreshing. Not only food but could be nature related stuff. Even could involve the sun 😀
    Where is the sunniest place you have been?
    Hmmm….I haven’t got any single sunniest place yet. For me all places are even for now.
    What would your ideal Sunday be?
    For me I don’t need ideal Sunday. I need everyday to be Sunday. I want to work, enjoy my spare time and relax at the same time. How? I need to prepare things from now on to make that dream comes true. Of course with a hard work.
    Who would you like to share a cocktail with on a sunny day at the beach?
    Nobody because I will be sleeping and putting do not disturb sign besides me.
    Have you ever had sunburn???
    Yes at Beijing China when playing tennis at 40C outside for a few days in a row. Plus getting on small voleyball tournament back then at the university.

    Ritu, as I am terrible responding to awards, I thought I would answer the questions, put forth. 😉

    1) Canned tuna. The best invention, humans ever made.

    2) I, not the cats, have been to the Sahara desert, which the word “shade” does not exist. A couple of the cats got stuck up on the roof for a day in July. (they were happy to be rescued)

    3) Sunday holds no significance when you are self employed and work from home, so I can’t relate. But I would take a day without having to do the litter boxes!

    4) David Hasselhoff, I’d feel safer with a life guard around. And no, none of the girls. They didn’t seem very efficient.

    5) Yes, every spring, which is my reminder to buy new bottles of sunblock. I’m a bit dense that way.
    Well, there you have it. I’ve bared my soul for all to see.
