Can I just say formatting books sucks!!!!!!!
Sorry I haven’t been on track with Ron’s Fiction and Haiku challenge so far this week… Been doing some rather important stuff!
Still not quite recovered from the bash either, and those school reports are calling my name too…
With a member of my school team off sick, it’s gonna be a busy week, and I have SOOOOO much to do!!!!
But, you know me, I will get onto it all!!! Promise!!!!!

I’m keeping it simple and all the text and interiors are via word. Createspace have templates that can be used. So simple!
And the kindle part needs the text plain on a word doc. No special formatting. .. its getting page breaks in the right place!
But I think I cracked it!!!!

I’m getting there sis!
I ordered a proof copy of the paperback…. Then when I was formatting the e-book, found some silly errors! Gaaaah!!!
So I think I corrected them, I think the formatting is ok now….
I looked at it too much last night!
I’ll break, and look again in a couple of days!!!
At least I got my Haiku done!

I know!!! After I was done I I found two quotes who had the same picture… silly me… when I exchanged all was upside down and in the ebook the butterflies did not stay in place anymore. So after a while I simply removed them π Then I got it all done! I even published already when I found a typo in one quote… same procedure again…. so I hear you clearly!

That’s a tough one. Only thing I remember from my own attempt is that breaking the poems up (like one per page) requires a section break instead of a page break. The page break doesn’t always get noticed by Amazon formatting.
