The Break
I don’t know when, exactly, that it happened, but it did.
All the signs were there, but I ignored them.
If I happened to notice anything amiss, I glossed over it.
Life was good, honestly. We were fine.
Then, one day I looked at my heart.
The break was clear to see.
But I Smile Anyway...

Yeah and this has happened to so many people – myself included and man does it hurt when it comes out of the blue – it’s like a death.
