Dream On

Woken up this morning in a bit of a daze.

Not in a bad way, but just a bit strange!

Recently, well, on at least two occasions, I have woken up with the memory of a really vivid dream I was having.

And as I snoozed my alarm, I fell straight back into the dreams, until I could press snooze no more!

And they were strange dreams in that they had people in them who I hadn’t thought of for aeons!

Weird, parallel universe dreams.

Kind of ‘What If’ dreams.

But I wonder, why am I dreaming these ‘What If’ dreams, if I am genuinely happy with my life, with my lot?

I even tried to look it up in my Dreams dictionary, but nothing!

Oh well, I guess I shall be left pondering!

On that note, I bid you a wonderful Friday Peeps, and had better go and get ready for school!

I love these kind of intense dreams that just won’t stop. Sadly however I am one of those people who rarely dreams (Or at least I don’t remember any dreams).

I like to think of dreams as our minds working on our daily problems, helping us to resolve or solve them, Ritu. πŸ™‚

Some dreams are so vivid and do carry some sort of message at times.

Sometimes I feel like I have been awake all night in my dreams, like I traveled far and worked hard. Always a weird feeling, not much in the what ifs, but our brains like to roam!

I know what you mean, sis. What you tell us here reminds me a lot of my dreams which I did not know where they came from but were the starting point of big changes. Not the ones I dreamed of but they where the starting point to get in motion.

I have been having very vivid dreams lately too, Ritu. Maybe it something in the air or end of year exhaustion.

I had rather strange but not scary dreams this early morning too. Maybe there’s something mysterious going on in the Universe around us that make us dream so vivid… πŸ˜‰

Ah, self analysis of dreams. It could be that your sub conscious is making you aware of how things could be so different had you made different choices, a sort of wake up call in reverse. You are happy with your life, but a little part of you needs to give you a little reminder of how you got there. Just a thought (I’ve done it a lot).

I think dreams like this are about reflection. As it was Thanksgiving yesterday your subconscious may well have been thinking about how thankful you are for family and friends (even those you’ve lost). It’s perfectly normal for our writer brain to add in a bit of weird to keep our creative juices flowing πŸ˜‰ xx

That’s a lot better than having anxiety dreams. I always remember them when I wake up. Sometimes I even tell myself that I’m dreaming in the dream.

I rarely remember dreaming and have memories when I wake, It’s annoying as I often feel I’ve missed something important. I envy you.

I don’t remember them usually either David, these two just decided they were going to be really stubborn, and stay with me… left me thinking all day!
