I’m going to try to write on each of the prompts!

Yup, the prompt today, brought by lil old me!
Oh my, the histrionics of the last two weeks… I could bore you senseless with the dramas in my life, but they are too personal so I shall refrain!
Instead, a little acrostic poem dedicated to my daughter Lil Princess, who is permanently attached to a phone, recording pretend YouTube videos or Musical.ly clips! Rather funny to watch, but at 9, we have said no sharing!!!
D- Deep rooted emotions
R – Rolling camera(phone)
A – Affected performances
M – Movie star in the making
A – Amateur dramatics!

A great prompt word to kick us off with, Sis. I can relate to the worry you are going through with Lil Princess, I remember when Miss Hap was doing something similar. Mind you, now she is a teenager, Social Media seems even more important to her! Aaarrrrrrggghhh!!!

Ha. I had a 12-yr-old friend who got way into Musical.ly, and at first i was petrified that she would be trolled or worse, but it proved wonderful for her self-esteem, and I guess the censorship and restrictions on users of the site are effective. Phew!

Once my Lil Princess is older… maybe… but at 9… no! Plus her dad would be mortified. He hates social media of any kind!

Trust me Ritu I had three daughters and somehow I survived. There will be hairy moments but a few good ones as well, look for them when she hits 18!!!!

We start with a bang! Drama is a such a good prompt Ritu. And acrostic is a new word for me, just learned yesterday. I will have to take my hand at that. One cannot be too careful online. Good there is no sharing. Sounds like loads of fun though. Happy New Year.

But yes we try hard to shield the kids to some extent from the horrors of Social Media… though for how long? My son is turning 13 this year… He already wants Insta and Snapchat!
