#JusJoJan – January 12th, 2018 – Aggravate

Day eleven of #JusJoJan!

I’m going to try to write on each of the prompts!

Today the prompt is:

Your prompt for January 12th, 2018, brought to you by Fandango, is “Aggravate.” Use it any way you’d like in your post. And make sure you visit Jim at his blog, “This, That and The Other” link: https://fivedotoh.wordpress.com/

Thanks, Fandango!

Aggravate

Sometimes, it doesn’t take much to aggravate a situation.

Sometimes, just your presence, your breathing can cause a meltdown.

I see it daily with my kids!

They are at that precious tweenage stage, where there is love, but a whole lotta hate!

And the number of times we end up having to referee slanging matches because “he just looked at me,” or “she touched my carpet”… sheesh!

It’s definitely a brother/sister thing. I remember being the same with my brother.

But we did work through it. The hate part turned to love too, and we can laugh at our childhood relationship.

It makes me realise what we must have put our parents through when we bickered over the most trivial things or screamed blue murder because someone changed the channel on the television!

My mum always says, in the nicest way possible… it’s payback time!

Thanks, Mum! Love you too!

See you tomorrow!

I used to fall out with my brothers and sisters all the time when we were younger Sis. In fact, me and my little sister couldn’t go anywhere without having a punch-up, even at the cinema!

I think this “hate” game is a big part of the development between siblings and lets them grow together even more… in case they survived each other as kids… lol!

The cute little fights today will be laughter and memories of tomorrow. Good luck dealing with it right now 😛

Boys do it to, Ritu. They don’t just shout, they try to beat each other up.

When my first two were growing up I used to give them their “days.” One was born on the 5th of the month so she got all the odd days. The other was born on the 8th of the month so he got all the even days…sitting in the front seat of the car, deciding what music to listen to…anything that could potentially cause an argument would be settled by whose “day” it was. Saved me a ton of aggravation!

Some days I miss the stage of life when my boys were young – and yes, occasionally aggravating! Then there’s other days where I’m perfectly fine having no young ones in the house and go visit the grandkids and come home to quiet.

haha. Yes me and my bro were exactly the same and can still be sometimes! But thankfully there’s a lot of love there too.

Being the youngest of six children I remember the bickering! I also remember the aggravation been our three boys, no doubt my grandchildren will eventually aggravate each other when they get older! Great post Sis 💜💜💜

    Actual post, Ritu 🙂
I still remember that time, while my kids were in that age and it could be difficult times. Today they have a good connection.
