We are all too used to these quick-fix solutions nowadays.
In cleaning, rather than setting to with your sponges and scrubbing brushes, there are electric brushes, promising cleanliness miracles in seconds, and wipes to clean just about everything.
When you want to get a response to a question, you have your mobile – a text, or message via the numerous apps available means that you are able to contact people pretty much any time.
Why wait for that bus to come, when you can just Uber yourself somewhere?
We tend to think that there will be a lightning fast solution for everything in life.
But sometimes you have to just take each day one step at a time, knowing you are going to reach your destination, but that journey may take time.
Small steps in the right direction, are better than going off-piste, trying to rush to a conclusion that may end up not being what you wanted…

But I did not get anything after Sunday till the Haiku ( or senryu) showed up.
The reason I get concerned ( and I can only ask people that I regularly have contact through comments) is that this had happened before also. Suddenly blogs that I follow regularly vanishes from my reader and then show up after I check back with the blogger. Your’s is the third or fourth such instance during last year or so. Not sure what the issue is.

I went back and checked my PC also ( to ensure that this was not a issue with my mobile app) but same thing – I do not have any post in my reader from you after Sunday ( unless wordpress has put some sort of filter or censor😢)

No, it still showed “following”. I went ahead and “unfollowed” (based on my previous experience) and immediately followed and your senryu showed up. That’s why I think this may be a wordpress issue.

I noticed when i was in the UK that you have wipes for everything. Here is SA we still use clothes, cleaning liquid and elbow grease.

The bit about the specialist cleaning supplies made me smile. I have to search through my cleaning cupboard before each little job to make sure I’ve got the right thing. I suspect I’d be just as well off using soap and water and lots of elbow grease.

By my experiences from last year with illness and my challenges with electricity in January, I found out to live one day at a time, to be happy, when one of the challenges find a solution and to be very patient and grateful for each little solution, as make my life a little easier.
