Watching sadly
As plants lose their petalsThe sun disappears
Who turned out the light?
As rain starts to pour
From morning to nightThe moans from us all
That it’s too cold or hot
We’re never just happy
With whatever’s our lot!We should be used to this,

Great poem. I also love summer, even though I live in Alabama. The temperature is in the high 90s to low 100s, with 90% humidity.
