One-Liner Wednesday – #1LinerWeds Satisfied

“Enough is as good as a feast.” Sir Thomas Malory/Mary Poppins

Love this quote. My English teacher Mrs Morris, RIP, always used to say it to us in class if we had a fit of giggles and the laughter didn’t stop!

But it’s true, isn’t it?

As long as we have enough of whatever to satiate our hunger/needs, there is no point in taking/wanting more.

That just becomes greed.

Right, what more do we need than enough? Great quote and thought, sis!

There’s an expression my mom use to say…. “The eyes are bigger than the belly.”

There’s a good thought to remember.

I remember my mom taking me into downtown Pittsburgh (on a trolley) to see that movie in one of the grand old theaters when it first came out. Thanks for jogging that memory.

It becomes a very difficult life always wanting more rather than feeling blessed about what you already have.
