Oh absolutely! I wish I could do it all over again … all of it. I know I’ve made mistakes, but I hope that the good outweighs any bad. Katie

You’re so, so accurate with this. I often find that one of the biggest challenges parents face is being present IN THE MOMENT. Not planning tomorrow’s afternoon, not scheduling something for the weekend, but being exactly where your feet are at all times. This is something I try practicing with my children – being there, connecting with them, supporting them in every little moment. Thank you for the reminder!

Yes!!! Quality time and love is the most important thing to giving your kids a good start. (Deuteronomy 6:7
7 and you must inculcate them in your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up.)

So true! 24/7 duty!! The joy and psychic rewards are worth it though! What they don’t tell you and you learn later in life is that you will be Mom forever! A blessing as long as you have closed all the account in the bank of Mom! LOL! Bravo!

Oh, yes! As parents, we all have done some stuff that we wish we could take back, but our main job is just to BE THERE!

True and one big part is a constant process of learning, learning, learning… although we think we are the “teachers”.

That about sums it up. But, it makes a world of difference in the life of a child.
