#Blogmas2018 Ritu’s Blog Tips #4

Day four of Ritu’s Blogmas!

My muse, my tea my workstation!

Today’s tip

Read, read and read again.

By this I mean you must make sure you edit and revise your posts. Silly grammatical errors, spellings or broken links are simple to rectify, but can be the very things that put off prospective readers.

A challenge but necessary! Most of all for someone whose first language is not the one the posts are written.

Agreed! Poor punctuation and/or bad spelling seriously detracts from the presumed intent of a Post.

How true, if you have scheduled a blog you may not get a chance to check it straight away, which seems to increase the chances of a glaring or confusing error having occured!

Yes, yes and yes. You won’t always spot all of the mistakes by the third read through, but you’ll have picked up most of them. It’s only polite to make life as easy as possible for those who take the trouble to read what you’ve written.
