I still feel honoured when he decides to come and sit with me on the sofa or bed, because you can’t force him.

My 18 year-old, Lena, is the queen of the household and the love of our lives. We adopted her from Paws Animal Rescue when she was six months old and she has ruled over many other cats since then. She has “seen ’em come and seen ’em go…” Her “full name is very alliterative, Little Lanky Lena Lou Longest! We have been cat lovers since we were married and adopted our first cat three years later. We have had cats in our lives all 54 years of our marriage.

Oh he’s absolutely gorgeous! I have a special place in my heart for all ginger boys and have one of my very own called George. George is 8 and he has an elder brother called Milo who is 9. We don’t celebrate their birthdays and I actually have to think to remember their ages – especially with George. He’s what we call a perpetual kitten. He’s perfectly happy and healthy except somewhere growing up he just didn’t develop properly mentally/emotionally. He’s a kitten in a 8 year old cats body which is adorable and sweet, but drives his elder brother up the wall constantly as he doesn’t understand that it’s not play time all the time.

Sonu Singh is adorable. Pets are the best! We had cats over the years and loved them all to bits. Now we have a dog and she is our baby. Happy BIrthday, Sonu, hope you are spoiled. Yes, we celebrate our pets birthdays. They are part of the family.
