Spidey is being philosophical today, as February in our family is a total Birthday Bomb!
Starting with my brother-in-law, then going on to my mother-in-law and Hubby Dearest on the same day, followed by father-in-law and Lil Princess, again on the same day…
Yup, it’s a busy month, too much cake on tap, presents to think of and special treats to organise, but a fun month nevertheless.
And each year is an opportunity to be thankful for the chance at another year. Another chance to learn all that life has to offer.
Right, now I am off to work off a whole load of cake!

A really busy birthday month in your family. Next year I am turning 50. I am not afraid of that. it just feels so surreal because I don’t feel like that age at all … lol!

Me and my sister and mother have birthdays this month – Mum is the same age as the queen, just beating her to 93! By the 23rd we will have a great group all of us in multiples of 3 – my 3 children, 4 grandchildren and sister and Mum! Not saying which number I am of course! ₩

Birthdays make me think of the day my boys were born, a day my life changed forever and a day when I was stronger than I ever thought I could be. I call on that strength sometimes when I’m low. We have a special song we sing on birthdays, in addition to “Happy Birthday,” in which the angels sing and blow on their horns and dance at the birth. So, I guess birthdays make me think of angels too! Enjoy your special month, Ritu!
