Beyond #writephoto

Sue’s #WritePhoto prompt:

I felt compelled to write a little extra to add to Reena and Jay’s little journey last week, in poetic form!

Reena Laments
Light
Breaks through
Brightening
Our surroundings
Unfurlings my limbs
I rub away stiffness
Camping mats and sleeping bags
Are definitely not for me
Can't wait for the trip to be over
How long until I can get in my bath?

Jay Responds
Feeling that sunlight warming my body
Tickling my toes and calming me
Transports me to another place
Somewhere nature takes over
Until a groan shatters
Serene images
The Glamster wakes...
"Caffeine! Now!"
Reena.
Great.

Camping is great, when some good restaurants and hotels are near the place. I always remember bad experiences by state financed “Camping” as a part time soldier. Lol Michael

Reminds me of me and my ex husband… He LOVED camping… we’ve been divorced 30 years now. 🙂

See, it’s like hubby and I… He wants active holidays (even though he ends up in plaster… like right now!) and I prefer relaxation… so we have compromised… Cengter Parcs is great as there is plenty of activity for him and the kids, and loads of wonderful places for me to sit, unwind and read, oh, and join in, if I feel like it!
