One Liner Wednesday – #1LinerWeds – School vs. Holidays

The love I have for my job is measurable by the amount of my vacation days that I have already spent in school… Vacation days – 3 (excluding weekend) Days spent at school – 3!

Ritu 2019

Yup, the school holidays are here already and I, for one have been so looking forward to them, but so far, have spent each day in school because I have a shiny new classroom to set up!

Well, not quite shiny, as it is in the oldest part of the school, and some say there is a friendly apparition that has been seen there too… ooer!

But it is new to me, and I am trying to make my mark, as best I can.

The only frustrating thing is that there is one piece of furniture I am waiting for, and it hasn’t arrived yet. possibly not until the end of the holidays.

It means I have a huge pile of boxes in the middle of the room, whilst I wait for the cupboard to arrive. Still, I have moved the majority of the furniture around to my liking, and displays are pretty much done. I have sorted the art cupboard out and set my stationary station (see what I did there?!) up too.

My next task, today, along with Lil Princess, is to set up the reading corner. I want to transform it into a little Hundred Acre Wood section, with Pooh Bear and all his friends!

Winnie the Pooh
I’ll be putting that up in there too!

I will share pics when I am finished!

For Linda’s #1LinerWeds challenge, though that was a bit more than a line!

Ooh! That reading area sounds adorable. Setting up a new classroom is a lot of work but it’s so exciting. 🙂

Sis, I have to agree with Erika on that. Really great to be able to set up the classroom yourself. But don’t forget: it’s a classroom, not a living room. You have to go home again.Otherwise, you will soon be part of the inventory. 😉 Michael

It is exciting to create your classroom as you like it and that you can even get new furniture. Enjoy, sis!

I wish I had had teachers like you, Ritu. You make learning fun. I’ll bet the friendly apparition is a teacher like you who is just making sure everything runs right.

The vision of your completed classroom sounds wonderful, Ritu. I agree with robbiesinspiration – would love to be a child in your classroom. Have fun today and with the kids when the time comes.

Too bad for the loss of vacation, but it sounds like an interesting task nonetheless!

One thing I know to put it in English versión ” If you are dreading for Monday to come to go to work……get another job” ( I know is not realistic for most people but for succesfull people it is.
About you and the funiture I was chuckling, I just helped my mother move to another place, talk about boxes…….tomorrow at 7:30 a.m I´ll have to catch the bus yet again, to go to another town and help her out, again, with putting this thing in this box here, that thing in that box there, paint this paint that guess is mom. She does still support me morally that is,and that keeps me going. So what is doing a days work of moving tables, and furniture so this can go here and there…..got you sista!

I´m still waiting for Sunday Spidey, don´t kill spidey please…..

This is so exciting, enjoy the prep. I do love Pooh that’s a brilliant idea to use Pooh and his friends for the reading corner.
Make sure you get a break too though.💜
