Spidey’s Serene Sunday – Part 245

img_00411

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thanks for that Spidey. How did you know that I have been struggling with making a padrticular decision recently?

You all know I have been writing, or rather, editing the last few months on and off. My novel manuscript is almost as polished as it can be, give or tale a few crutch word tweaks.

I made a crunch decision a few weeks ago, to self publish, and join the ranks of Indie authors out there.

I have self published already, but that was my poetry book.

My initial dream was to get a traditional publishing deal, but I know that is a tough call. A few positive rejections and I thought “Hey, it can’t be that bad, if the comments I got have been pretty positive.” so I made a little decision, in my mind.

If they aren’t going to do it, then I’ll do it myself!

I haven’t been working on that book for nigh on 19 years for nothing.

And so, my decision has been made, and I have had huge encouragement from various sources too.

I have also made another decision, that within the next week, or so, there will be a cover reveal on my author blog!!! Eeeeek!

Yes, I have a beautiful cover. And I can’t wait to share it!

So if you haven’t already, follow me there on www.ritubhathal.com and you’ll see my pretty cover first, when the post is up!

I’m nervous as anything, but can’t wait to hear what you all think!

So… tell me, what decision have you made that you will never regret?

Honestly, I made the decision to follow the Law of Attraction and study the spirituality of than and some others. I have never regretted it, and, yes, the Universe does, indeed, conspire to make your decisions true – just remember that the Universe goes mostly by what you deeply believe!

Oh Ritu this is so exciting! Eeek. Moving away to Lincoln for my first full time journalism role. It kickstarted my career, I met one of my best friends, time away from home made me really appreciate the amazing north east even more and of course I met my husband and we now have Elsie. Best decision I ever made.

Congrats! Good luck with the book. Looking forward to seeing the cover reveal. I decided to start my own transcription business 18 years ago and it has been the best. You are right about that universe thing. That’s why I have a chat with the full moon every month. Happy Sunday.

Nothing wrong with the route you are taking, Sister. Once you publish your novel it’s all about the marketing.

It is wonderful that you have made your decision and I know you will not regret it.
I have made many bad decisions and I regret them. But I have made two decisions that I will never regret. One is refusing to give up on my son and his family when things looked their blackest, not perfect yet but there is hope 💜 and two refusing to end up in a wheelchair and so far I am still standing.
Never give up never give in Sis you will make it 💜💜💜

Congratulations. I learned that once you make a decision, it´s up to you to make it the right decision. I know you will make this work! Great quote too.

You cannot lose anything in which way ever you are publishing. Each published book supports the next one. You have a big audience anyway already. Looking forward to seeing your cover, sis.
Which decision I made and never regretted? No decision at all regardless of which part of my life it concerned… because each one caused experience and took me to the place I am today.

I don’t regret becoming an Indie Author at all. It would be nice to be a successful Indie Author but the alternative would almost certainly be a lot of stress with nothing to show for it! I know there is more to self publishing than Amazon Kindle but my brain can’t cope with any more than I am already doing. Now that we ( technical support from Cyberspouse ) can create paperbacks on Amazon as well at least my mother gets to hold my books and read them.
