Oh My Lord Ritu. You have such an intense story. Much props to you for writing about it. Wow! I had no idea that Metformin could be used for that either. I have had my own female issues but not as intense as yours. Bless you for being able to be alive, stay alive and thrive.

Ritu, how brave to write it. I too had poly cystic Ovaries and endometriosis. Three mc’s an ectopic and a still birth. But three beautiful children. A hysterectomy before 30 and still plagued with Endometriosis as it appeared / migrated to my bowel. All long before you could Google or be given drugs. I thought I was the only one with both conditions …. I have never heard anybody say they had both before. Thank you for making after all these years me feel some normality with this. Xx

Whew! I am the youngest of four boys, and I have no sisters. My wife and I have one adult son, and I hope to be a grandparent someday. No more whining allowed for me. Great writing!

That’s a beautiful share, thank you. I am not a PCOS-er but I really appreciate hearing your experience and gaining a little insight into what some women deal with and how difficult their struggle can be. Clearly one reason you went through all that is to tell the story, which you did very well. I might be better equipped now to show compassion but also keep an ear to the ground should any women I know be experiencing odd symptoms.

It can be really discouraging to have to almost fight your doctor to investigate your problems further. But it’s a good lesson in being your own advocate. It’s really great you found someone who joined your fight with you. And how wonderful that you have a supportive husband. 😀

I always feel that if you have a story, you should try and share, especially if there is a positive, because, somewhere, there will be someone, going through similar circumstances. Someone feeling in a dark place. Your story, or in this case, mine, could be a light at the end of that dark tunnel 💜
I’m so glad you gained some knowledge from this. Thank you for reading it 💜

I am also plagued with this but luckily have my little girl. There won’t be anymore as I have exhausted that road. No more IVF for for me! Glad you got your family too. X

I’m happy for you, that you did get your wished kids, Ritu 😀
Sometimes we need to fight more for our wishes, than other times.
    Congratulations with the publishing.

Great piece on your fertility issues, Ritu! I had PCOS leading up to my pregnancy (my guys are first-try Clomid successes!). But, as it sometimes does I guess, the PCOS worked its way out with the kids. Talk about frustrating to have a cycle like clockwork–only AFTER you’ve had your kids and are done. I know you understand every frustration. Good for you, writing about it!

Oh, tell me about it, Rebecca! Readying myself for menopause now!
So many people have conditions like this, but there is a silence…I’m not one for being too quiet…!
Thank you so much for reading it. 🥰

The “circle of life”, right? The next interesting thing for me coming up in this matter is my daughter not having her “monthly routine” for a while … lol!
