Colleen’s 2020 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 177 #SynonymsOnly – Transition & Harmony

Colleen’s Weekly Syllabic Poetry Challenge with two prompt words this week – but remember, you can’t use the words, just synonyms!

Transition & Harmony

Too many changes
An interruption of peace
As the world digests
Senseless advice has been given
Are we just lambs to slaughter?

Ritu 2020

I think that this #CoronaVirus is really getting to me!

On the day creating this poem it seems you had a nasty mood.Otherwise its a lot of reality in this. Conclusio: A great one again. Thank you Sis!

Such worrying times your poetry speaks of. My youngest has gone back to work in supermarket (she works there during uni holidays) Worried as she has asthma (mild thankfully.)

The world will bounce back, but I do worry about people’s health and well being. I pray that each and every person is able to put food on the table for their loved ones!
Economically I do fear what type of recession we may face and for how long 😦

      Recession is inevitable, isn’t it?
I personally am worried about the wellbeing of many I know… not everyone is equipped to cope with this situation…

No one has experience with this situation. But I see that the situation in the UK is pretty chaotic.

The world has suffered pandemics before, Ritu. Mankind has always prevailed. Our economy is structured very differently now so we will suffer great economic pain, but maybe the changes that result will help save our planet.

      The World will survive.
Economy will bounce back (after a long while)
Still doesn’t stop us feeling like we’re being sent in to the unknown… By leaders who really don’t have a clue (apparent when you listen the their Q and A sessions!

The big wigs are just as confused as we are, Sister.
