Colleen’s 2020 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 179, #ThemePrompt #etheree

We have a quote as our syllabic poetry prompt this week, thanks to Merril D. Smith!

“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.”

William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
Hope
Can be
Infinite
If you let it
When you shine your light
You become a beacon
Others will flock towards you
And then ignite lights of their own
Just a little spark of your own hope
Can be a catalyst for hope worldwide

Sis, this is so lovely and heartfelt. I can’t share to FB, again. So, I’ll have to try again. I really love this. ❤
