#TANKA TUESDAY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 206 #SYNONYMSONLY Meander & Drift

Colleen’s Syllabic Poetry Challenge:

Prompt words, but remember, we need to use synonyms, not the actual words!

mingle and drift

Snowflakes meander
From the sky, to the cold ground
Blending together
Creating icy blankets
To warm Mother Nature's spoils

I love to think of meandering snowflakes! Sometimes they do seem to take their time like that! I agree they form blankets, it’s always so quiet when it snows, muffled like in a quilt.
