Spidey’s Serene Sunday – Part 307 – Fate

“What’s meant to be will always find a way”

Trisha Yearwood

Thank you, Spidey. You’ve been reading my mind, again, haven’t you?

Fate.

What will be, will be.

You know, in many things, I do believe in fate, but fate doesn’t have to be left alone. You can give it a helping hand, in many situations.

If you have a dream, a goal, an ambition, just hoping for the best, won’t work. You need to give it a helping hand. You need to put effort in, as well, as that hoping for the best.

But, some situations are a little different. You aren’t in control of things, and it is fate that kinda takes over.

Take our house search, for instance.

We are putting a huge amount of effort into trying to find that dream home, as well as push the sale of our own hosue, so we can get moving, but sometimes things are jsut not in our hands.

Just because we fall in love with a place, doesn’t mean it’s ours to have. There are others out there, doing the same as us, and sometimes, they slide in, before us, and suddenly a Sold STC sign goes up.

Similarly, people want to come see our place, then they pull out for various reasons, or it’s not quite their thing… Or if it is, something else crops up.

It’s enough to drive a person mad, but this is one situation where I feel fate plays a huge part.

Our perfect buyer hasn’t been to see it, yet.

They say you just ‘know’ when you see your perfect house. And we thought we ‘knew’ the other week. So much so that we put an offer in, but it ended up being knocked out by someone else.

Kismet. Fate.

I was sad for a little while, then thought about it. Why get upset? It was obviously not the right place for us. And we’ve seen others, since, that might be the one instead.

Still waiting for fate to tinkle her bell, though, to tell me that maybe this one is ‘it’.

So… tell me, do you believe in just ‘knowing’ about a new house?

Have a peaceful Sunday Peeps.

Sound crazy, but yes! If you have looked at enough houses when you find the right one – it speaks to your heart and soul! It’s great when it finally happens but you need to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your dream home. LOL

Thanks for sharing this…when we looked for our dream house, we had one fall through and questioned the entire process…then we saw theme we have lived-in for 20 years…and just the other day my wife reiterated how much she loves the house – because it is our forever home!

Yep, your stars need to be aligned for things to work in your favor. Those people who disagree with that have had the fortune of good luck shining upon them constantly!

We bought our house just 6 months ago and have gone through the whole gruelling process, so I feel you. You will get to your home when the time is right 🙂

Stay true in faith, Sis!Happyness will arrive soon. 🙂 You can already mentally prepare yourself, how nice it will be to mow a large lawn and clear snow in winter. I have this so far with two objects, and i should have inherited some more. If they were in London, Paris or New York. I would be the happiest person. 😉 Have a beautiful rest of the Sunday, and enjoy a wonderful week! Michael

Stay strong in faith, Sister. Your dream house is being manifested and will arrive. It is hard to have patience when you know exactly what you want but it will be rewarded immensely in the end.

I think when things are right you feel it. I don’t know if you can call it fate but I was looking online for a home and when I saw this particular house I felt it in my Solar Plexus. That is my house!!

I do believe in ‘just knowing’ when that perfect house comes along. We live in a house we’ve always loved. When we were renters, we used to drive by and think how perfect it would be. It was never for sale. When we were ready to buy a house, it came on the market…but above what we could afford. We never looked at it. In the meantime we put offers in on two different houses, and they didn’t work out. Then the price on the dream house dropped, but it was still more than we could afford. We went to look at it and could ‘see beyond’ the mountains of furniture, hanging stuff, and dark kitchen that had obviously turned off prospective buyers. We put in a bid, they countered, and the house was ours!! So, that dream house of yours is out there Ritu. It just might take a different pathway to find it.

I know, I mentioned it here and there but it is fitting here too again:
    God has only three answers:
    Yes
    Not yet
    I have something better
Whenever something I hoped for does not work out, I become rather excited, because I know by experience that soon after amazing things do happen that top everything I hoped for in the first place.
The best place will find you. Just keep imagining what you would love to get. Make lists with aspects and print images of houses that would fit, and hang them where you can see them daily. I once made a dream poster with everything I wanted to achieve or receive. Every day, I looked at that poster and imagined me having this all fulfilled. And it happened in almost all cases.

Hi Ritu. I felt such sympathy reading that. We’ve been through it many times. I can honestly say that the way things worked out in the end was better than anything we might have thought best during the process. A certain amount of faith in that – that there is a ‘force’ looking after you – is needed. Hang on in there, dear friend. Yoga or similar can help channel the frustration – ask your Dad!
