Thanks, Spidey! You know exactly what has been on our minds, recently, especially here in the South East!

We have had two weekends of hints that we will wake in the morning to a coating of the white stuff, but both weekends, here.

Nothing.

I seriously can’t explain the disappointment!

I may be a mid-forties aged woman, but there is still that excitement at waking in the morning, pulling your curtains open and seeing white blanketing the world.

So, we have been told, that on Sunday, which is today for you, but tomorrow for me, as I type this, The Beast from The Baltic, is coming to visit. And I hope that I wake to that white blanket!

It’s meant to be heavy, for us, tomorrow, and possibly continuing a little into Monday. Heaven knows what that means for school.

School snow days could be a thing of the past, now the world has become switched onto remote learning, but I do hope that most schools affected, take the initiative, and encourage children to get out there, with their families, and enjoy the time, together. We don’t see substantial snow often, here so the kids need to be able to enjoy. Imagine the postiive effect on their mental health!

Now, here’s hoping it actually materialises! I really don’t need another disappointment, and am holding onto that third time lucky thing! (Better get my wellies ready just in case!)

    The Beast of the Baltic (What a name! Lol) is loving Germany more. 😉 Its staying i here, in the north. But i fully understand you with loving snow. As long as i not to have clean the ways. 😉 The emoji with the antlers i have to save for later. Its so funny. 🙂 Lets hope you will get snow during the next week. Best wishes, Michael

    I’m not a snow guy, it looks lovely untouched but that’s as far as I go. I hope you got at a nice white coating ❄️❄️❄️

    Snow is lovely when you are in a warm house looking out, or crunching around in it when it is new and fresh. …Not so nice when it turns to slush!

    I grew up in Seattle…where it would maybe now once or twice a winter…always a blast. Now that I’m in Los Angeles, where it has NEVER snowed, I am used to waking up to 70 degrees in January…love snow and it s only 3 hours away!

      It is amazing now here, only an hour away, there can be loads of snow, yet we get zilch!
      I woke this morning to see it falling, but it refused to settle. All day it has been snowing, sometimes heavy, large flakes, sometimes light, and it has barely covered the grass, before melting, again! So disappointed!

    No sign of it here Ritu. But it is very cold. Hope you get your snow. My mum told me a while ago that the kids in Edinburgh were out on their sledges. Yes, good for their mental health. So yes, a bit of snow wouldn’t go amiss! x

    On the basis that we were forecast snow/sleet for this morning, I decided to have a late night and cancel my run. So far there’s not even a hint of it.

    I hope you get your snow! ❄ I was hoping we’d get some here in the Pacific NW but none so far where I live. I love the peace and beauty of a world covered with snow if only for a few days. 😊
