Okay, Spidey, I get it. I need to up my determination!
I consider myself an ordinary person. There’s nothing special about me, other than I am blessed with wonderful people around me and the world has conspired to give me enough of everything I need.
(Sometimes more stress, and less time to do what I want, but I’m not fussing!)
But in order to achieve all the hopes and dreams I have for my work, as well as in my writing career, being determined is my biggest resource.
I have to have that feeling of wanting to achieve, in order to get there.
And I need that determination to seek out the time to reach my goals.
Things are hectic, again here, with changing rules, absences in school due to Covid rising again, so different stresses at play, but I have ensured I have stuck to that daily writing habit. Every day on the blog, and some time on the WIP a couple of times a week.
I am determined to translate the daily blogging habit into a daily writing routine, after January, so no matter how short, I am still focussing on that manuscript that I have to finish.
Peeps, it will get written!

You know me, sis. I definitely am determined… some would even call it stubborn… lol. If I have a plan in mind, I will make it happen. But as you said, it requires the willingness to do more, to step over your comfort zone, to give up something for making room to work on your project. I have two jobs (one employed and one self-employed) which make me work a lot more than only 5 days a week. In addition, I am still working on new songs, working on a new book, developing new products for my shop, and continuing to expand my business. Oh, and there is still my blog, I don’t want to miss, a family, a private life, a big house, and garden. So, yes, I think I may say, I am a determined person that is not afraid to make effort to reach her goals 😂

when i really want to do something, i find a way to get it done. i think this makes me a determined person. i love combining words and visuals to create something new and i do this is my blog every day. they may be just a word and a picture, with thoughts or ideas or quotes, but they are things that are put together in a new way which brings a new perspective.

One of the writing podcasts I follow suggests writing 200 words every day, as it’s usually easy enough to find time to write 200 words and sometimes you just carry on past 200.

Yes, I’ve seen this recommended with various amounts, April. 100, 200, even as few as 50. But it all helps to build a habit, doesn’t it?
