A terrific point Ritu – we are SO reliant on electricity for every aspect of our lives….I think some sort of “outage” on a large scale will have everyone re-thinking how they access this power…we already have lots of ads here in the US for “home generators” that will keep you safe and warm when the power goes out elsewhere…

How true! I laugh at myself when I recall one power outage where I stewed about missing a segment of a television series I was watching at the time. “Well, maybe I should just catch up on letters,” I thought. Then I realized that meant taking out the electric typewriter I used way back then! LOL! I wrote letters out instead, something I hadn’t done for years, but realized how dependent IF was on power coming out of the wall.
