Maybe this is because I am reading Grey at the moment by E.L. James.

I read the first three Fifty Shades books when they came out, I had to see what the hype was about with this one too!

When they came out, it was the talk of the playground (the mums obviously!!!) at drop off and pick up time! So I thought I’d try them out.
The first was intriguing as I’d never read BDSM literature, but the writing was not all that. Repetitive. But I felt compelled to know what happened in the sequels!
This one that came out was written from his perspective, rather than hers, so I thought I’d try it and see… Same kind of writing… You’re not missing much!!!!!

I saw a few extracts when they first came out. The writing still didn’t appeal at all and, from what I hear, it plays to the stereotypes too.
