Hello everyone!
I just wanted to pop on here to say I got a notification that today it’s my ten year blogiversery!
Ten years since But I Smile Anyway hit the interweb in a confused manner, as I learned what a blog actually was!
I started a total novice, encouraged to ‘start your own blog’ when I tried to comment on a post a friend had written.
And now, ten years have passed.
And in that time, the blog has evolved.
It started as a place where I literally splurted my thoughts, took part in challenges, and developed into a place with regular posts, life updates, Spidey’s Serene Sunday, and now a vehicle for parts of the above, along with book reviews.
Something must have been okay, as I won awards three years running, including Best Blog at the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards!
This blog is the reason I finally became a published author, now with four books under my belt, so thank you to all my followers and readers who encouraged me, and still do.
Thank you, all of you. Some of you who’ve been here the whole ten years, some a bit less, but many, many dear friendships thst have been built, too.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without your support.
Here’s to even more years.
