But I Smile Anyway…

So, another lil memory popped into my mind this morning from a while back!

We were walking in town, and a poster for Pole Dancing classes was on a wall.
Lil Man: “Mummy, what’s that lady doing?”
Me : “She’s dancing, son.”
Lil Man: “But mummy, she’s on a pole!”
Me: “Yes Son, she’s dancing.”
Lil Man: “No, but mummy, she on a POLE?”
Me (raised voice): “SHE’S POLE DANCING!!”

Cue strange look from a woman walking by, wondering what I’m teaching my 6 year old son!
