A memory floated into my mind…
A couple of years back there was an article in the papers about how so many primary school aged children were oblivious to where the food they eat comes from. There was a sample list of questions and I was so proud my two answered each correctly…
Tomato ‘from a plant’, ✔
milk ‘from a cow’, ✔
apples ‘from a tree’ ✔
etc. etc.
On a roll, I asked Lil Princess a few more,
carrots -‘from the ground’ ✔yay!
Sausages- ‘from the barbeque’ 😐
Ermmm…….
