Personally, I’m more comfortable in bed, my fingers move so much more smoothly…

Remember How Long is Too Long?
I’m talking about blogging! Where do you sit n type/compose/get inspiration/read even?
I currently have my PC, which is great for more technical things, and the WordPress app on my iPad and phone too.
If there is a more serious topic, I might be more likely to use my PC as it feels more formal, and serious, if that makes sense!
Being mobile means so much more freedom! I’m not tied to a desk, and can lie in comfort reading, and writing.
I have my notes app on my phone, so if inspiration strikes, I jot an idea, title or topic down, for later perusal.
And with regards to posting in general, I might be at home, early morning, on my iPad, having that precious cup of tea before the kids wake. I’ll check comments and reply, read from my reader, and post sometimes.
Or, sat waiting for the kids karate class to be done, I have an hour to kill… If inspiration strikes, I’ll sit there on my phone tapping away silently, though if eye contact occurs, I might strike a conversation with someone! (See earlier post Conversations with Random Strangers )
But I have to say, for me, bed is best!
The holidays were great, I posted as and when, but not reality has struck my life again, back to school, back to work, I have ‘other’ responsibilities too!!
So where’s best for you?
Desk?
Bed?
Sofa?
Bus?
Train?
Indoors?
Outdoors?
I’d love to know!

I typically need a comfy armchair, a couple energy drinks and the dead of night as my muse. This makes writing at college much more of a problem, since I have no money for an armchair regardless of comfiness. 😛

My daughter had pretty much taken over my MacBook, so I got used to writing nearly everything on my iPhone.
I recently bought my own MacBook Air, and it actually felt a little awkward at first going from the much smaller screen.
Wrote this on my iPhone, wife currently looking at Boo dog vids with son on new comp ~sigh~

Actually, I don’t like to do it where I think I might like to do it. Someone mentioned a bathtub full of Jello once, but as I thought about it, I thought it would just be to confining and cold, and OMG, you’re talking about blogging! I’m so sorry! LOL!
I get my inspiration from right here on the Reader. I don’t copy other people, but I may pick a topic and run with it my own way, at my PC… Or sometimes I just wake up with something in my head, rush to my computer and jot it down quickly because the whole thing comes to me at once. Sometimes I even can’t sleep because I’m bursting to say something ;O)

This is where I go wrong! Sometimes I start a post on one device, can’t finish it for some reason, and then have difficulty opening it on a different medium as I have forgotten to save it correctly!
Still, I am learning, and I have, this week learned to embed a link! Am well impressed with my self!!

Squishy chair – except my squishy chair got squished out into the ‘cold room’ to make way for the recliners we were given… so I am currently in the recliner near the fire… bed is good – but I get a neck ache. Table is too high so I get an elbow and shoulder ache… I miss my chair. 😛

HOW did I mISS this? Weird ass evening actually – got a kiddie not wanting bed ( . ) cos she fell asleep in the car – did EVERYTHING to try keep her awake… (sort of) but she has only been back at school for two days. Tiny soul… so – keeping myself awake – THANKS!

I mostly blog from my laptop, normally while sitting on the sofa half watching the kids play lego or Star Wars Princesses. Sometimes I blog from my bed but have a tendency to fall asleep!

To be honest, if i could only use that medium, I’d be, pardon my French, buggered! Hubby Dearest, when home, is on the PC a lot, with work, and then the kids claim their time for school work. By the time they are asleep, and we’ve eaten, I’ve ironed, prepared for the next day, I just want my bed… My Ipad and bed lol! 😁
