I am so late getting this on e in this time… Sorry Hugh!
I racked my brains, to think of something I could take a photo of, or of a photo I already had that would show something that really scares me or freaks me out, but it was so hard!
Can I be so blunt as to say not an awful lot fazes me… I don’t get as scared by things, as I used to. In fact the biggest fear of mine, nowadays is actually the thought of losing my loved ones, family and friends, not other things. I was so unsure how to capture that in an image.
However, as they do freak out many, even I am not a lover of arachnids… those 8 legged creatures that like to roam, and are around, everywhere, inside and out, especially now!
So, here is a lovely specimen we found in the nursery garden sat swimming in a bucket!
He’s a big un, stretched out, the size of the palm of my hand!
Sorry Judy I tried to be more original but couldn’t get my head around anything else!
Those multiple limbs
That scurrying and hiding
Turn me to jelly

Great photo, Ritu. I’d admire your bravery in taking the photo. There sure are plenty of spiders around at the moment. My fear is when walking into one of their webs and then doing that silly dance when trying to get the web off my face and fearing that somewhere on me is the spider who’s web I have just walked into.
Thanks for participating. I hope the new challenge I will posting shortly is not going to involve any creepy stuff this week (although when you see the photo I am posting you may think differently) 🎃
Happy Halloween.

Lol! I have been doing that web dance a lot… We seem to have webs everywhere, in the garden, and the outdoor area in nursery, and taking the little ones places, I forget that when you stretch to adult height, you may come across more than you bargained for.
The thing is, I have to be careful not to make it a horror dance, or else there are 20 screaming nursery children!!!!
The comedic value is there though!!!

Looks like it. When my daughter spent her 6 months in Salisbury she was so afraid to enounter those. Everybody told her. But she was lucky. She is terribly afraid of spiders.
