Sir Chocolate and Hoot the nougat clown are celebrating the launch of this new book Sir Chocolate and the sugar dough bees story and cookbook today. How to make Petit Fours

To make the almond cake

Ingredients:

3 cups cake flour;

1 tablespoon baking powder;

½ teaspoon salt;

1 ½ cups white sugar;

½ cup vegetable oil;

6 large eggs;

1 teaspoon almond extract; and

1 cup milk.

Method:

Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Beat the eggs and the sugar in an electric mixer until light and frothy. Add the milk and sunflower oil and beat again. Gradually add the cake flour, baking powder…
