Well, it wasn’t quite the victorious homecoming that they had hoped… They lost 4-0!
But in their defense, it was a first match for a lot of them too. And the other team was older, more experienced, oh and our goalie suffers from ADHD…
And they came back smiling!
Oh and for Lil Man an extra boost, Daddy came to see the match! Hubby Dearest had asked me whether he could go watch it, so I found out, and was very impressed that he took time out to go support the kids!
(Though Lil Man said he was shouting to him, telling him what to do too much, and he kept on getting subbed!)
Ha ha lol!!
Next time eh! We all have to start somewhere!!!

Thant is so great that they had fun in the end! This experience will help them to work together even better next time. 😉

When we went to watch my daughter’s first netball match, they got slaughtered 27-0! They also played a more experienced team and they were a lot taller too. However, they didn’t give up and it was all good experience for them to play a team that had a good system going. They were able to learn a bit from them too. Lil’ Man will know what to expect next time he plays 🙂
