I agree. If you are happy around others, those people that are around you usually respond positively. I forgot what it is called but there is a sociology term for the passing over of happiness. When one person is so happy and welcoming to others that they make the other person or persons happy. It is a great feeling to receive this or to give this to someone else.

This is so true. My Pops and mum always smiled through a lot if stuff that happened in their lives that wasn’t always positive… Because of this my brother and I grew up to be positive, and smiles were a natural reaction… I love to smile, it makes me feel better. It’s the first thing most people will say about me, I think, if they know me, that I’m always smiley….
I don’t know the technical term either, but most definitely am happy to transfer a little sunshine with a little smile!

I also find if someone is mad at you and you smile and act like it is all good they either decide not to be mad anymore or walk away fuming inside. Either way it’s a win but I prefer they no longer stay mad.
