Going a bit Lego mad AGAIN!!

You know my kids have a Lego obsession at the moment… Well one of our national daily papers had a 9 day offer, where if you bought the paper every day, and took the voucher from inside to a specific shop, you could get some Lego sets free.

Not a bad deal, I think I paid under £10 for all the papers, to get a whole set. One single set would cost between £5-9 so I made a saving of… Whatever! It was a great deal!!!

And aside from the first one I had to double up, as Lil Princess decided she would like to collect them too!

Here is what you could collect…

Pretty cool, huh!
And we got em all too!

image

The whole shebang!!!!
First we had the Swamp Police Helicopter

image

Second, the Joker Bumper Car

image

Third, the Off Road Vehicle

image

Fourth, Rapunzel’s Market Visit

image

Fifth, Tractor

image

Sixth, A Star Wars Tie Fighter. .. I think!

image

Seventh, Garbage Truck

image

Eighth, Demolition Truck

image

And Ninth, and finally, Ninjago Kai Drifter

Kids were very happy, and it was just another thing to add to my daily list of things to do, albeit something a bit more out of my way, as I don’t go into town every day!!!

But I have to say I’m glad its over… I didn’t have the energy to be rushing around any more than necessary!!!!

But I Smile Anyway...

These are very cool and my boys loved their leggos. We had shag carpet and they would forget to pick them up before bedtime and i would get up in the middle of the night and walk barefoot across the carpet and set on them.
    Ouch!!
We saved their leagues and the grandkids played with them and now the great grands play with them.

AH! I almost forgot about Lego! Used to play with them all the time as a mini-me. Lots of nostalgia!

(The star wars thing is an AT-ST as I recall, the tie fighters are the flying ones. I only know these because my dad’s a Star Wars nerd. He has two shelves of Star Wars books and all the movies. It’s impressive.)

When Granny was a little kid, she had Lego too. You only could built a house of it and make a car with wheels. Now her grandchildren can built everything they want. It’s still one of their favorite toys too. We love your collection 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

Loved Legos as a kid but the kits now are SO intricate! What happened to just building stuff! Glad they enjoyed them!

Mummy is always on hand to correct that one mistake, often made right at the beginning, which means we have to take it all apart!!! But they are getting much better!
Its true though, its not just about imaginative building now, its all about specific sets!!!
I love watching the little ones in my class playing with the Lego, at 4-5, they can be so innocently creative!!

My daughter liked Lego and my first son adored it. He had huge kits. He has been very skilled. When he was 8 he built a huge truck with electric options. The set was meant for 12 year olds. My second son did not give anything on Lego…
