To Our Son On His Birthday

What we wouldn’t give
To see what your future holds,
Whatever it is…

We want to give you
The absolute best we can…
A perfect future.

But I Smile Anyway...

    Hi Ritu! Love your haiku. I think that sometimes I’d like to know the future of my loved ones more than I’d like to know my own future.
