This week TJ gave us the prompt of a footstool.
A quick initial haiku…
Life has worn you out
Come and rest your weary legs
Upon my smooth backRitu 2016
I don’t have one, as such, and could only think of the small embroidered one we bought my Mother-in-law this birthday. It’s cute, and has a little drawer in the side, as the children thought their grandma could do with a secret hiding place for her pens and glasses! But I wasn’t able to get the photo… maybe later this week.
Then I remembered that I do have one, but it’s not mine!
It belongs to the kids. A miniature armchair and footstool set that Lil Man was gifted on his 1st birthday, by my parents.

You’re never too young
To relax with your footstool
And your matching chair!Ritu 2016

Wonderful take on this prompt, Ritu !
In life, we all need a place to seat ourselves and to spread our legs out, don’t we ?

Thank you TJ! 11 years on, it’s still a favourite! Little bottoms have got larger but still squeeze in to enjoy the footstool!!!
