Be the bigger person peeps, know you are the better one too, by walking away.
I often tell my pupils, when they are little and whinging about someone being silly towards them, “Ignore them, don’t let them know they are affecting you. It will sink in that they are not important enough to affect you soon enough, then they will stop too.”
I have often had to tell my own children too. I want them to learn to pick their battles, and realise some are just not worth fighting. Be the bigger person, and walk on to better things.

I couldn’t have said it any better. Sometimes we spend too much time trying to focus our energy on something that actually takes happiness away from us and that is very unnecessary. I hope your pupils always remember to choose what’s right.

I agree. It happens all the time at work. I don’t let people get me upset anymore because that’s exactly what they want. They’ve wanted me to quit all of these years but I’m still here! It’s not even worth it for me to say anything to them anymore.

Very true words, Ritu, which speak a lot to me!!! A tough lesson to learn at times. But once we are ready, it is the greatest relief to leave things with those people, not because I think I am better, but because I accept that we don’t speak the same language.
