Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “pick a number.” Choose a number—any number—and write about it any way you’d like. Have fun!
Three.
There, that is my chosen one, and I shall give you three reasons why.
I was born on the 3rd of the month.
It’s always 3rd time lucky.
What I speak is a mixture of three languages! Punglihili! Punjabi, English and Swahili!
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “one/won.” Use one, use them both, use them any way you’d like. Bonus points if you use them both. Enjoy!
One day I might just be able to say I won an award for my writing – or my book, at least.
I’ve been lucky to have won Blogger Awards, in the past, which I am very proud of. Not just one time, but on several occasions!
But, to have my books recognised. That would be epic…
Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “sap/spa/asp/pas/PSA.” Use one, use them all, use them any way you’d like. Bonus points if you use them all. Enjoy!
You know me… I am usually able to add each one of the specified words to something, but I don’t know if I can, right now. I still have a couple of days of school left, which I know will be highly emotional.
Nothing like the end of term to sap all your energy.
I tell you what, though. I could 100% use a spa day, right now… though I am that tired, I’d probably spend it all asleep on a lounger or massage bed!
Now, that would be a faux-pas, wouldn’t it?
Just imagine, paying all that money for some fancy treatment, like an asp‘s milk facial, (imaginary, yes!), and then snoring through it all… what a waste!
(Okay, so I got most of them in. Couldn’t work out how to add an appropriate sentence using PSA, given it’s meaning! Oh, but I managed to add it to the post, didn’t I? Will that count towards extra points?)
Right. Off to an early-ish bedtime. I am officially pooped! Or quanked. Found that word out last week. It is a now obsolete word, basically meaning exhausted! And it fits me perfectly!
