Helping the afternoon along!

I have been a good girl today.

We woke up relatively refreshed, and after getting the kids ready we ventured to the local Shopping Mall, to have lunch, and a little potter about. We returned and I was straight to my computer to do my homework.

Helped along by a nice cup of cardamom tea, and a choc chip chunk muffin, and accompanied by my music, a spot of 90’s flavas from my iPad!

Probably not the choice of everyone on a bank holiday, but it has to be done, and within a few days, I won’t have the same mind set to get these tasks done, so I figured I would get as many done as possible, this holiday, to leave me relatively free to get set in the new job!

Oh, I feel like a youngster again, forced to sit in front of the computer doing homework… but hey, it has to be done, and the plus… I can sneak onto WordPress to post! Like I’m doing right now! Naughty girl!!!

Its half term now, cleaning, and tidying up are really futile activities in this place. I tidy a room and move on to the next one, then when I revisit the ‘tidy’ one, its like a bomb has hit it, or a whirlwind has been!
And it appears to be a very pink whirlwind too…. Lil Princess seems to manage to transfer the contents of her bedroom, downstairs. I ferry things up and she manages to magic them down again!
Funny, considering she says she hates the colour pink…. But hey, that just shows the stereotypes in toys, doesn’t it!?
But back to the statement in the picture… Whenever I feel the urge to tidy up, I think I’m gonna come upstairs and take a nap!!!! It’ll be more productive than the alternative! At least I’ll feel refreshed, even if the house is a tip… Its better than feeling shattered after cleaning, and still having a messy house!!!!

The Sleepover Posse have yet to arrive… But I’m exhausted already!
I was up with the larks… Well, with Lil Man, cleaned the house, went out, got grocery shopping done, came back, unpacked, made lunch, then flaked out!!!
On top of that, whiney girl, Lil Princess, has been asking, every half an hour, when the others are coming…. Its driving me round the bend!
Hubby Dearest wants to do a BBQ. Its not ideal weather, but it is kinda warm, so he’s off getting the meat.
I have ironing that needs doing, but can’t be bothered!!!
Oh well… Roll on this evening!!!
