Charged!!

Ok, so its 17:43 UK time, and I have just got out of bed! (Well ok about half an hour ago!)
Well, no, I didn’t sleep non-stop since my flat battery alert yesterday, kids have a habit of getting in the way of that luxury!
But we chilled in the morning, and then the 3 of us went visiting, leaving Hubby Dearest at home nursing a sore head due to a late Baby Head Wetting event! By 2pm my head was pounding, the flat battery alert was flashing again, I had about 10% left, I think. Enough to do basic functions, but I would have flat lined had I tried anything strenuous.
We got home and made a little lunch for the recovering dude, and I took my cup of tea and went to my beautiful new bed… oh from 3-5pm, the sleep I had! And considering when I woke up the WHOLE family, all five of us, (me, Hubby, Lil Man, Lil Princess AND Sonu Singh!) was relaxing next to me and I hadn’t realised when they came in, I guess either I was REALLY tired, or this bed is miraculous!
Anyway, I am now feeling amazingly alert, ready to make our Sunday dinner, and a roast chicken is in the oven along with potatoes, the kids are wallowing in a bath so they can be fresh for dinner, and I am finishing this post so I can get my ironing out of the way!
The next downfall (and, damn it, there always seems to be one!) my eyes are itching, like a bad un, and me and Lil Princess are sneezing non stop… can only mean one thing, HAYFEVER season is upon us! I feel another post coming on!!!!

Shh!!!!! Don’t tell…

I’m still tired, yes, but kinda nervously excited.

Lots of things coming up in my life… Including starting my Return To Teach course in April, and hopefully a visit to my brother and sister-in-law, to finally meet my gorgeously edible nephew!!

But there’s another big thing… That could happen, could change the dynamics of my life… In a good way, hopefully… And I can’t tell you all yet!!!! But rest assured, when the time is right, if it works out, I’ll be dancing around, shouting from the rooftops.

But I will need your positive vibes for it…

…the only downer… I may have even less time to blog…

2.5″ to go!!! Hula Update – week 1

nope… that’s not me!

After my health check, I took the advice of the nurse, who said although I was not overweight, I could stand to lose a few inches of my waist. My then measurement was 35″. Ideally, it should be 32″ish.

She recommended hula hooping for 10 minutes a day… Great I thought, I can’t do 10 seconds, and here she is recommending 10 minutes!!! That’s a whole lotta seconds! 600 to be precise!

So I bought the weighted hula hoop and had a go, and found that Yes! I could do it!

I said I would report back after a week, just adding the hula-ing to my day, but not changing anything else, and I’ve managed it! 5 minutes of continuous revolutions each way! That’s my 10 minutes! I can even turn 360 degrees while hooping!!

And so the dreaded measure… It stands at….

34.5″!! That’s 0.5″ down!

WOW!!!!

So now as summer approaches, my eating habits naturally change, and I tend to eat more fruits and salads, hopefully that will aid the inch loss too!!!

The only downfall… The bruising across both sides of my waist!! I am assured they will calm down and stuff, but I won’t subject you to pictures! My spare tyres, along with my trophies from child birth, aka, stretch marks, do not a pretty picture make, and I don’t want to put you off your food!!!!
