Introduce Yourself

Give Momma’s post a read! Not only is she great, but she’s letting us all share our blogs together! Some great posts on there and I know I have just followed several new blogs as a result!

This is a little shoutout to all of you out there who, on a regular base, read my blog and follow it as well. Thank you all so much for your support and for the inspiration I get from all your likes and comments.

I know my blog is not one of the big ones. Still I would like to offer you the opportunity to introduce your blog here in the comments. Rather than just linking to your home page or About page, I would suggest you pick the one post you are most proud of. Kind of your ‘best of’.

I am looking forward to checking all those posts out and I hope you will find some new followers or readers like this too.

Introduce Yourself Here To Other Bloggers And Grow Your Audience!

Another great opportunity to mingle with other bloggers!

theed's avatarTHE EDITOR'S JOURNAL

So I’d been thinking since I began 11 months ago about how I could help other bloggers grow their audience as quickly as I did. Y’all know how passionate I am about making a proper living from blogging already.

I started doing Blogging Tips and then I wanted to offer online events that could help boost folks’ audiences. I had quite a few in mind but a busy schedule and some tough periods put paid to getting them up and running last year. But now…here is the first!Feel free to use this post to say hi and introduce yourself to other bloggers. Add links to your books, your poems, your enterprises.

Promote Yourself!

Tell folks who you are and what you blog about so people will want to check you out. Also go say hi to others. It is all key to growing your audience.

Frankly I got tired of…

fat

Or any day if the media is to be believed.

I read a certain national newspaper online every day, and this morning I was greeted with yet another headline and story about a mum and daughter who claim that they are too fat to work. Is it just me or are we being bombarded with stories like this on a weekly basis now? If it isn’t the newspapers then it is tv shows, for example “Too Fat to Work”, currently being aired by Channel 5. Shows like this are deliberately setting out to antagonise the taxpayers and further increase the divide between them and those who are simply too bloody lazy to work!

To be honest it is quite understandable why stories like this provoke such an intense reaction in the public. The mother and daughter featured in the newspaper today claim the equivalent of a £46k salary every year…

I have connected!

So, I think I’m getting to grips with things now, and have set up a linked Facebook page too, if anyone is interested in visiting, and liking it!

I will share my previous posts on there, is that the best thing to do? Then, my new ones will automatically publicise there too!

But I Smile Anyway

Please visit, I’m very welcoming!
