#WritePhoto – Carved

Sue’s #WritePhoto Prompt this week:

Our future is carved
By the steps of our past
Each breath that we take
One closer to our last
Think deep about
All the things that you do
For the marks that you leave
Will reflect upon you
What gift will you give?
What joy will you spread?
What path will you leave
For the future to tread?

Good poem – if a little dark – each breath that we take one closer to our last? But I agree with the thought.

Lovely, Ritu, and reflects my own thoughts on how we view both the past and posterity.

What we sow we will reap! The more aware we are of it the more we sow only seeds of fruits we wish to have in our life!
