Have you ever…?

Have you ever had a conversation about a situation or a person, and with utter conviction, spoken about something or someone you know who dealt with things in a fantastic manner, or possibly got stuff totally wrong… Then as you get deeper and deeper into that conversation, realize that you actually don’t know that person, or you aren’t familiar with that situation, because it didn’t happen?
Because you were thinking about a book scenario that you read, or a character that you bonded with in a book!!
I was having that conversation (with myself – don’t ask!) this morning, thinking about a certain situation, and how I’d want the conversation to go… But all the comparisons I came up with were fictional!
Go figure!
I guess that must be a sign of a good book though, when things are so real, and characters so lifelike, that you feel you have lived it all!
But I Smile Anyway...
