Monday evening means it’s Ron’s haiku challenge! Read more here.
Great words this week – Child & Star. I started with a little humour, but the words touched me in a personal way, paving the path for the second haiku…
Honey Boo Boo!
Reality
Reality stars
Nothing more than hyped up and
Celebrated brats
Ritu 2016
And one a little more emotionally deep… means something to me…
For my 2 stars, twinkling in the sky…
Forever Stars
Farewell my cherubs
Gone too soon but with me still
Two more stars twinkle

Ok, so life as I know it, has officially ended for the next few weeks at least!
Why? Well, Big Brother has started of course!!
I know… Reality TV… How could I get sucked into it? But I do! Every year, it happens!
Much as I loved Davina Macall as the host originally on Channel 4, I have to say I enjoy the new presenters, Emma Willis, and Rylan Clarke too, and they aren’t really new, it’s been a good couple of years since they took the reins.
What do I love about watching 12-15 strangers entering a house, then living together, numbers slowly dwindling over the course of the show?
Watching the interactions, the developing relationships of strangers, intensified lives, where it feels like 5 years has been crammed into that 12 weeks, emotionally!
Oh, and the madcap contestants, because, let’s be honest, you have to be pretty loopy to allow 50 odd cameras to follow you about, 24 hours a day, wearing microphones, so you can’t even whisper in peace!
Who do we have to look forward to meeting this year? Channel 5 decided to release information this year in advance, about the contestants, but I didn’t read up on them, as I like the element of surprise as each comes out. But I did see a picture…

And let’s be honest, appearance can be very deceiving… But there are a load of young beautiful things, along with a very camp looking older gentleman, and an extremely baby faced man child too!!
I’m sat here watching the entrances live, and Mr Camp just came it, to lots of boos!
It’s also called Time Bomb, this year, as there are some explosive surprises…. We’ll see, eh!
So, I’m signing off now, to concentrate on the crazy crew being let loose on the Big Brother house! And the first live twist!
Byeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
