So I’ve sorted the Man Flu out…
We’ve been hit with The Lurgy again…
It’s been going on since October…
And it’s hit ME again now, today.
Great.
I was fine this morning, spent a great morning with Lil Princess, had lunch, felt a bit groggy and lay down.
Got up with the ability to swallow greatly hindered, and earache.
This is NOT GOOD!
Especially on HER birthday!
Thank goodness we are getting take-out as per her wish, and the cake is ready!
But will I get a day to rest? Will I heck!
I’m a mum remember!
Somehow I’ll still have to function as usual, then I can have an early night…right?
Yeah right!
Early night? Whatever!!
I’ve met very few mums who actually get a chance to be ill, when they’re under the weather. Could this be why we end up rattier in temperament than the rest?

I know!!! I have school and the kids don’t!!! It’s staff training day!!
We have to ferry the in-laws to the airport on Sunday night too…

Yes, I’m afraid it’s Sod’s Law. Hopefully you will manage to get some sort of rest once the kids go back to school on Monday. I hope Li’l Princess had a lovely birthday 🙂 Looks like she had a lovely lot of presents.
