It’s that, or when they use your full name!!! If I heard my mum say “Ratinder!!!!!” I knew something was WRONG!!!
And the worst thing, I do it to my two too!!!!! The Punjabi Mum Lyrics come out if they do something truly awful! I guess it shows how disappointed or upset I am at them!!!

lol, I’m 33 and I still get that from my parents AND sister lol…
Even my husband makes that O face when he hears it… He doesn’t have that in his family so its been a shock to him to see it in mine lol..

I don’t usually hear my given name, Martha, unless there is something official going on or I am out with my Mom. I’m not used to hearing it.

My mum is the same… And when she was once asked by a very important priest like person at the temple, what her name was… She was struck dumb, because she forgot her full name!!!
