Plastic bags

Image from Minion Quotes on Facebook!

Well, do you? I think I actually have several! No matter how eco friendly I am, with my canvas shopper bags, reusable this and that, there is always an abundance of plastic bags!

It makes me wonder… Are they multiplying??? Is there a secret plastic bag orgy happening somewhere in my kitchen, resulting in baby bags, that appear, requiring me to go and collect them, and fill up ANOTHER plastic bag??!!

We actually have a proper drawstring bag thingy just for plastic bags that hangs on the back of the door. You push them in the top and pull them out the bottom when needed. But i think its taking on a life of its own its currently about 5 times the size it should be and is taking over the entire door. 😊

We used to have this issue but we used them for disposing of, well, cat turds. However, now the supermarkets have started charging 5p per bag so now we keep buying “bags for life” as we keep forgetting to take them with us so now we have canvas bags EVERYWHERE – and they cost about £1 each!

Yes! I have reproducing bags, too! Isn’t it ironic? Socks disappear in the washing machine, yet bags magically appear in the bags of plastic bags.

I certainly have, several. Also in the boot (trunk) of my car.
Then I often arrive at the supermarket checkout with, “Damn! I brought some bags but I left them in the car.”
I am a fool who never learns!

Ha! Ha! What an attention getter. The most important thing is to at least reuse them. We try our best to get away from them but they do multiply….how?

I also have a cache of plastic bags stored in a giant plastic bag. I used to use them for cleaning out the litter box, but now I just hold onto them for dog walking and transporting my lunch to work.

I thought I was the only one who has bags in bags and forgets my reusable bags. Yay, I feel normal after reading this.

I have a carrier bag full of carriers! In my boot there are the shoppers and canvas bags which I forget to take into the shops with me….resulting in more carrier bags!

I have a wall mounted plastic bin that holds my plastic bags. I use them to put my recyclables in so it’s all recycled.

I have a chef character with an opening at the back. you feed the bags in there until he becomes quite a rotund chef… problem is, he is full, and so I still end up with bags full of bags as they don’t all fit!!

Trouble is we buy reusable bags – then forget every time to take them with us shopping! So defeats the object really.

Been there, done that so many times! They end up in the boot (trunk) of my car.. see I am organised enough to leave them in there for using, but then I get to the shops and forget to actually take them in with me! 😀
