Blogger Fodder

Obsessed.

I must be.

Because everywhere I go, everything I see, I find something that makes me want to write!!

Something that reaches deep into my mind, and makes me think of a poem, a story, or even a funny anecdote.

In my own home, the perfect examples, my kids. Each sentence uttered appears to have a bloggable dimension, my kitty, Sonu Singh, well it’s just his face! The food we eat, the things we do.

And outside, I see a sign that makes me think of something funny, maybe it’s the place we’re at, but something always jumps out at me, gives me a new reason to write!

Of course I don’t actually write about it all.. I wouldn’t actually be living my life then, I’d be at a screen all day! But then the ideas would dry up and I’d have nothing else to write about!

What am I saying?! At the screen, why even more pearls appear… Sometimes reading another post, makes me want to write my own version of something. Sometimes it’s a comment I might make, that makes me think, “Ooh! I could make a whole post about this!”

The news, the hashtags of the moment, new movies, songs, books… There are so many things that jump out at me!

Then I look back on my life and, while reminiscing, or maybe looking at photos, another story jumps out. It’s not only something I hope others would enjoy reading, but there is a certain enjoyment it actually putting certain stories on paper.

I have given all this inspiration a name, Blogger Fodder!

Is anyone else like this? Do you seem to think constantly in terms of what you could blog about… ? I do believe I am almost OCD about it!

I get like this too! Granted I only post once a week, but there are some weeks I have no freaking clue what the hell I want to talk about and it can get very frustrating.

Writing seems to be something like public speaking. Not everybody is willing to step out and be seen, especially with the whole world watching. That makes blogs like yours Ritu, so real, readable and enjoyable. Your choice of Blogger Fodder is great!

Yes I get like that too! Then there’s other days where I’m just very mentally exhausted from my day job and I tell myself you need a break from it! Then I’ll get some other idea/ideas and get up and write. I guess there is no stopping now. Then there’s people in my town that find me on Facebook and ask me how they can get in my blog and I can’t say no ha ha.

Been there, I try to ignore it. It’s not easy.. But I don’t want my face to be glued on my phone or laptop…

I am the same way! I go through phases where everything inspires me! I keep a voice recorder in the car and a journal nearby 🙂

Uh oh! This is very serious. I’ve had it for a year or two and it just keeps getting worse. Try not to let the poor children starve!

You are a true writer and I think would make a great writer or a poet because they find subjects all around them. I am one of those who like to write when some one prods me on- so that does not make me a true writer.

I totally hear you! That’s why I mustn’t read while I am writing on a book. I can only read some lines and get that inspired that I have to close the book and continue writing on my own… Also with my blog. I see so many beautiful things, happenings around, special events over here, or have insights and want to share this all with you.
