Storytelling…

Its 10.45pm and I’ve just finished making my props for story assembly tomorrow!
I like to make stories come alive, not just with the book, but using visuals, and accents, songs and props.
Tomorrow I’m reading Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson.

And I’ve recreated the main characters.

The monkey and butterfly,

And the suspected mummies!

Hope the kids enjoy it… All 180 of them!!

Last week I read Hamilton’s Hats by Martine Osborne.

And I made the different hats!

I wore a headband to slot the various hats into, and the kids loved it!

But I Smile Anyway...

Ritu you are so creative and clever, How lucky the children are to have someone like you that cares so much, I think it is brilliant that you put so much thought into everything to help them to learn.Well done to you 🙂

Oh the assemblies I’ve done. Taught primary for over 25 years. They are exhausting affairs but always worth it. All the best. Kris.
