I was listening to the radio on Monday afternoon, and the station I was listening to, Heart FM, were playing the biggest 90’s hits.
The one I tuned into initially was one of my all time favourite songs… I had the cassette single, and would croon away to myself, into a hairbrush, into a mirror, even recording myself! (Come on, admit it, you’ve all done these things too!)
The song itself, the melody, the words…. heck, who am I kidding, the initial reason I was in love with this song was because of the gorgeous guitarist, Nuno Bettencourt!
Don’t know what he looks like now, and that is of no importance anymore, but then… oh, those lips!!!!

I had to sing this on radio once to win tickets to go and see them in concert in Belfast……I won the tickets and my work colleague ended up flat on his back egs in the air from laughing lol

Yeah, from memory it was a very grand affair, I do believe there was a part orchestra and everything…..it was about 20 years ago lol

Nuno was a very good guitar player, looks aside. I thought Extreme would have had more staying power, sad their “hit” career was so short.

Class of ’77 here! I remember singing harmony with my best friend at the time, Sabrina. It was an oldie even then: “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine …”
I know there are others but I remember crooning to David Cassidy and Davy Jones for two. I will add some if I remember them today.
